Inspiring the World to Teach Polish to Anyone

As the Vice Principal of our Polish school, I was inspired to think “out of the box” and to create fun and effective learning materials to help students learn Polish. Polish is a difficult language to learn so I made up a lot of songs, rhymes etc. making it easier for the students to remember the alphabet. In addition, I realized that many kids have problems with hearing the difference between letters and their sounds. I created flashcards and placemats to help the students see the alphabet on regular basis. Focusing on the alphabet was a big hit with the students and I was amazed by the really fast results!  The secret is to be consistent.  With every lesson, we start by showing kids the flashcards with animals and singing the alphabet song.
